Nvidia's physical-AI push brings robotics back to the center of the AI story

Nvidia's big bet on physical AI, robotaxis, and humanoid robots is a reminder that the AI story is not only about screens and chat interfaces.

Robotics needs simulation, perception, control, safety validation, hardware supply chains, and data from the physical world. That makes it slower than software-only AI, but potentially more transformative when it works.

The near-term watch point is not whether humanoids become ubiquitous overnight. It is whether better simulation and model training make real machines safer, cheaper, and easier to deploy.
