Meta's Muse tests whether mobile agents can become daily software

Meta's Muse launch puts the agent race on a familiar battlefield: phones and tablets, where assistants have to earn attention inside everyday habits rather than controlled demos.

Mobile agents matter because they sit close to messages, photos, calendars, purchases, and app workflows. That makes usefulness easier to understand, but it also raises the bar for permissions, privacy, and recovery when the agent acts in the wrong place.

The thing to watch is whether Muse becomes a real behavior layer over mobile apps or another assistant users try once and forget. The breakthrough will come when agents save time without making people supervise every tap.
