TechRepublic's coverage of agent screenshots leaking inside enterprise workflows shows why governance cannot wait until agents are fully mature.
Screenshots, browser states, internal documents, and task logs can all contain sensitive information. When agents handle those materials, ordinary approval workflows and data-loss policies need to understand what the AI system is capturing and where it can send it.
The practical answer is not to ban every agent. It is to define data boundaries, approval gates, retention rules, and audit trails before agents become another shadow workflow inside the company.
